Poured and Polished Concrete with Specialty Aggregates

Here at The Concrete Impressionist, we consider this process the rebirth of "Terrazzo"
Unlike modern day Terrazzo which is mainly composed of an Epoxy Matrix with glass; and created with concrete, marble chips, stone and scraps.

With our own proprietary Concrete mix design, we can re-create an old art. We can integrate any color, any course stone or glass, and other features as per your design. Normally, we start this process at 1 ½" thick over a concrete structured slab. We integrate zinc terrazzo strips to create an interesting break in the floor witch become the control joints.

Once the floor is installed it is protected so other work may continue and we return 29 days later to begin the grinding process to expose all the aggregate that was seeded into the floor. We then bring it to a full polish thru our process.
